Highlights:

     -Found the greatest sandwich place of all time

     -Discovered that warm brown sugar boba is the greatest creation on earth

     -Got the chance to teach Sister Haslam's brother the missionary lessons!

     -tri-lingual lessons

     -Had a friend invite himself to church ! (He woke up at 4 am so he could ride his bike for 3 hours to get to church--> no excuses)

Today's thought is about a tool that the adversary uses to prevent us from progressing!

The Anti-Responsibility List:

     -Blaming Others

     -️Rationalization️

     -Making Excuses

     -Minimizing Sin

     -Hiding

     -Abandoning Responsibility

     -Lying/Denying 

     -Rebelling

     -️Complaining️

     -Faultfinding

     -Entitlement

     -Doubting/Quitting

     -Self-Pity

     -️Indecisiveness️

     -️Procrastination️

     -Allowing Fear to Rule

     -Enabling

Other names for this list include 'The Anti-Success List' or 'The Anti-Happiness List'.

The list is where Satan wants us to go when we face adversity. To deny responsibility in those moments causes us to give up our agency. Choosing the list allows Satan to take control of our lives!

When we give up our Agency, we deny the need for repentance, and therefore deny the power of forgiveness!

When we turn to the List, we turn away from the infinite Atoning power of Jesus Christ. Don't be deceived!

To be free is to choose repentance! To succeed is to choose Him! Having the freedom and joy that comes from repenting is what allows us to be happy.

I encourage you all to recognize when you turn to the List. Recognizing the moment of decision is the first step to changing what decision you to choose to make :) 

Don't deny yourselves the Atonements power. 

Don't deny yourself progress. 

Don't deny the Plan of Salvation! 

It's a privilege to understand Heavenly Fathers Plan for us. Don't take that knowledge for granted!
