Week 82 - 八十二週 - April 27, 2026 - Coming Home

 大家好！

Highlights:

     -Had 1 normal day with my companion 林姐妹 (Sister Lin)

     -Some cool Blitzes!!!

     -Got to have a shadow baby with us and train the new missionaries 一下! (For a moment)

     -Sang a musical number at church!

     -Went 順便 (wayside) talent finding 

     -Got a message from Sister Pantig saying "your last baptism" --> the friend we taught together who lives in France got baptized yesterday!! 剛好謙卑 (Humbling)

--> Perfectionism is Pride

Week 81 八十一週 - April 20, 2026 - 新埔 Xinpu

大家好！！

Highlights:

     -Exchanged with Sister Olson and Sister Roberts!!!!! So amazing!!

     -Went finding, teaching, and baptizing 

     -Found this AMAZING mom who asked us if she could bring her kids in the lesson! They will be baptized May 17th!

     -Took the MRT with our friends to church!

     -Had some friends attend the Elder's baptism!

This is why "He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it" (Matthew 10:39)

It is miraculous that we get to be raised from the dead! But its also interesting that we must die first.

What in your life has yet to die? What are you still holding back from God?

No half measures will do!

The is the church of change!!! I have seen it in myself and countless of people here on my mission. Lets pay the price.

 大家好！！

Highlights:

     -exchange with Sister Braithwaite TWICE (more on this later) (我算在中和服務）(I'm basically serving in Zhonghe)

     -exchange with 翁姐妹 (Sister Weng)--my baby SO FUN! She's in MLC now! Time flies!

     -請客 (Member Meal) with President!

     -GENERAL CONFERENCE

     -Had a mom bring her kids to church :)

 大家好！！

Highlights:

     -Got to translate for my sister at church and eat lunch with my dad and sister on p day!!!!

     -Easter Sunday :) (we 延後 (delay) general conference over here)

Atonement insight:

13 Now the Spirit knoweth all things; nevertheless the Son of God suffereth according to the flesh that he might take upon him the sins of his people, that he might blot out their transgressions according to the power of his deliverance; and now behold, this is the testimony which is in me.

Alma 7:13

I think President and Sister Whiteley pointed this out to me: why does it say 'nevertheless'?

The spirit knoweth all things. The spirit knows our sins, our pain, our sorrow, infirmity, weakness etc. 

Nevertheless, that knowledge is not enough.

Christ had to literally experience these things in order for the Atonement to be complete. 

I feel so much gratitude for the sacrifice that Christ made for me, and everyone that has ever lived, and will live on the earth.

"When the unimaginable burden began to weigh upon Christ, it confirmed His long-held and intellectually clear understanding as to what He must now do...Later, in Gethsemane, the suffering Jesus began to be “sore amazed” (Mark 14:33), or, in the Greek, “awestruck” and “astonished.”

Imagine, Jehovah, the Creator of this and other worlds, “astonished”! Jesus knew cognitively what He must do, but not experientially. He had never personally known the exquisite and exacting process of an atonement before. Thus, when the agony came in its fulness, it was so much, much worse than even He with his unique intellect had ever imagined...

Even so, Jesus maintained this sublime submissiveness, as He had in Gethsemane: “Nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.” (Matt. 26:39.)"

I am simply awestruck at the character of Christ. May we ever live in solemn respect of Him.

Because of Him, 

Death is not the end.

I can be whole.

I can be clean.

I can work hard.

I can pay the price.

I can live with my family forever.

Highlights:

     -Zone conference! Learned better how to use the Book of Mormon!

     -Exchanged with Sister Kuch!!

     -Had a 請客 （Member meal） with Betty!!!!!

     -Saw some amazing finding miracles finding families !!

     -Saw 2 parrots while running

READ THIS PART 

I just want to record the way that God used the Book of Mormon to answer my prayers yesterday: 

We had a rough day at church. And when that happens you feel very small and inadequate.

Then I read this verse:

Ether 13:

13 And I was about to write more, but I am forbidden; but great and marvelous were the prophecies of Ether; but they esteemed him as naught, and cast him out; and he hid himself in the cavity of a rock by day, and by night he went forth viewing the things which should come upon the people.

Ether, a fantastic prophet, very spirit led, very purpose focused was still "esteemed as naught". God spoke through me through the Book of Mormon and said 'its okay. You aren't a failure. You are doing what you are supposed to'

The Book of Mormon can truly speak to our soul :) Read it! Every day!

Week 77 七十七週 - March 24 - Xinpu 新埔

大家好！

Highlights:

     -Temple P day!

     -Had meeting with President and Sister Whiteley

     -One of my trainees was at MLC with me :)

     -6 Zone MLC 

     -Did a Temple tour! Saw some old friends

     -Had a lesson with a family in their home and went to their house to help them use the MRT to get to church:) 

     -Got Costco Muffins

     -1 hour of biking every day Xinpu is the best area EVER

     -I've never run somewhere more beautiful

Mormon 7. His last words. I love what he chooses to tell us:

     3. Be peacemakers

     4. Have faith in Jesus Christ

     5. Resurrection and Judgement 

     6. Get baptized 

"What can I say more" (Jacob)

The gospel is the most important thing.

I had a dream a couple transfers ago where aliens invaded (classic I know) and they gave us a time limit for how long we had to live before they were going to end the world. We called all our friends with great urgency and told them '[insert name here]' you need to get baptized right now'

I've never been more urgent in fulfilling my missionary purpose and I did everything I could to save as many souls as possible.

What would you do if you found out you were going to die tomorrow ?

This dream taught me what urgency really means--and the urgency at which God wishes His children to come home.

Don't get complacent/distracted by things with no eternal significance!!!
