Some thoughts on Taiwan! Biking around is seriously the greatest thing ever! It is so stunning everywhere. The way I'd describe it is a mix between London, New York and Hawaii. Everyone here is so so nice and I am unbelievably excited to get to know more people. I am surprised by how many people speak perfect English (specifically in our ward). It makes it easier for me but sometimes I wish I had no choice but to speak Chinese so I could learn it even faster. Anyways I love it here and my trainer is the sweetest angel there ever was!!
I think the hardest part for me is being bold. My Chinese is still beginner level so it's hard for me to be confident in stopping people on the street when I can't even quite understand everything they are saying. All I know is that these people need the blessings and nourishment of the Atonement!! I'm so grateful my lovely companion is there to help!

Some thoughts on the divinity of the church:
(This is all derived from Eugene England's essay titled "Why the Church is as True as the Gospel")
It's often said that the gospel is 'more true' than the church. The general conclusion is that since the church is run by imperfect people, it is imperfect. I have learned this week that the imperfectness of the church is exactly what makes it just as true as the gospel!
In 2 Nephi 2: its says this:
11 For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things (等等)。
Opposition is part of the fabric of the universe. It is a Godly law. It allows the world to function. The opposition caused by the imperfectness in the church is exactly what allows us to utilize this opposition for our good. It provides opportunities to us to use the Atonement!
Where else are we given the chance to meet people we would never otherwise meet.
Where else are we challenged to work with people we wouldn't ever choose to work with. Where else are we conveniently forced to live outside our comfort zone! In the church we are given the opportunity to truly learn charity. That is the divinity of the church!
Never squander an opportunity to learn charity.

Here are some quotes!
-"Did that near death experience take your eyebrows with it???"
-"What does blue and green make? (Uhhhhh turquoise?) Guess what I put. Purple" (Elder Windgrove)
我很愛你們!我知道耶穌基督想要幫助你們。
對不起我一點類 (Sorry, I'm a bit tired)
